A large framed Knightia alta fossil in limestone - an extinct species from the Green River Formation, dating back approximately 47 million years. This stunning example of a fossilised freshwater fish once swam in our ancient seas. Discovered in the Solnhofen Limestone of Germany, it comes mounted against a hand-painted backdrop and is complete with a wooden frame. Complimentary delivery included.

Postage for returns is at the customer's own cost. Please note, large antique pots should be returned back to us using a hand delivery courier service who specialise in fragile goods.
