Our European brass mills are handmade by a small, family run business in northern Greece. The handmade grinding mechanism is designed to cleave, maximising flavour and aroma, producing a generous amount of salt or pepper with each serve.
Includes -
- 1x Brass Salt Mill
- 1x Brass Pepper Mill
You will find the handle for each stored in the body of the mill. They feature an adjustable grid from fine-to-coarse and can be tightened via the screw at the bottom of the mills. Due to the natural brass material, these mills will age and patina over time. We recommend regular maintenance with brasso if you prefer to keep your mills in new condition.
Fact - our mills are steeped in history and were first designed to be used by Greek soldiers to grind their coffee during the First World War. A beautiful and functional statement piece for the kitchen with a story to tell
Care Instructions
Wipe clean with a dry cloth and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or other corrosive elements. They will need simple assembly upon delivery. The handles are stored within the mills. Detailed assembly and care instructions are provided

We are currently offering free standard delivery for all orders over £75. Shipping for orders under £75 are £4.95 via Royal Mail Tracked 48 service to all UK Mainland and Northern Ireland destinations
Hassle Free Returns
We offer a hassle free 30 day returns policy. If you need to do a return, simply email us at hello@salthome.co.uk with your order number and we will advise on next steps.
Postage for returns is at the customer's own cost. Please note, large antique pots should be returned back to us using a hand delivery courier service who specialise in fragile goods.
